"No way" said my niece and goddaughter and shook her head vigorously. "I am not crazy, and I am not going to risk my life by bumping my head on a rock and drowning in a whirlpool of a mad river!"

Her boy friend and I looked at each other completely stunned and burst out laughing simultaneously. "Look who's crazy? You bungee jumping maniac refuse to white river raft with us?"

Mirco tried to persuade her in a loving and charming way to "please, please come river rafting with me." But it wasn't until I put my foot down and said: "Right now you are living in my house and you are doing as I tell you." That did her in. And although you could firmly see her heart dropping a few floors, she bravely accompanied us to face the inevitable.

Good thing she didn't realize my hands where ice cold and I was only waiting for her to tell me to get lost.

But then, we really would have missed out on the fun and excitement that this Adams River Rafting adventure brought us.
