Travel Notebook
Adventure Stories from Around the World

Travel Notebook tales are adventure stories from around the world. Back when I was just an armchair traveller, travel reading kindled my desire to explore the world for myself.

More than 30 years of wandering the Globe have passed, and my interest in travel essays is still an inspiration and the main source of information for my next journey.

Love is Universal
Love is Universal
Travel essays are subjective and very personal. Nobody experiences the same trip in exactly the same way.

Just think of "News from Tartary: A Journey from Peking to Kashmir" by Peter Fleming and "Forbidden Journey - From Peking to Kashmir" by Ella Maillart respectively.

They undertook this astounding trek through an unknown territory together - both books are excellent but couldn't be more different in describing what they experienced.
